Our restaurant is open from 6:00 a.m.yo 9:30 p.m. and the bar is open until 10:00 p.m. We offer an acreditable selection of local and international cuisine, cocktails, beers, liquors and climate controlled wine cellar, complimented whit a friendly treatment of our staff. Our reception desk is open between 6:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. to fulfill special request you may have.

Tambor is a perfect holiday destination for families with kids. The shallow waters are exceedingly calm offering excellent swimming and snorkeling even for the most timid of bathers.

Hotel Costa Coral is 3 minutes walking to Tambor Beach.

One kilometer south of tambor is a small fishermen community and a pier boats. The bay of Tambor offers one of the few safe anchorage on the pacific side of Costa Rica.

Bird watchers and other nature lovers can explore its wildlife on a kayak, slipping silently through the mangrove.You Will see Herons, Egrets, Roseate, Spoonbills and many other waterfowl.

At low tide you can cross the estuary by foot to get to the secluded northern coast of the bay. From here you can walk along beaches, passing by secluded coves, small rivers and stretches of rocks. 

Only 40 minutes to Playa Montezuma, Mal País, Cobano, Playa Santa Teresa, Playa del Carmen, Cabo Blanco National Park.
